Line-Line Intersection | Reply Does anyone know a good example of this? I don't understand any of the section at all. First it has A, x1 and x2...then it has A1, A2 and x. I don't know what the variable "det" is supposed to represent etc.Does anyone know a better introduction to geometry topics for those 10+ years out of school never touching anything besides +-/* since school?
Re: Line-Line Intersection (response to post by Dird89) | Reply I think "det" means "cross product". Since cross product in 2D is ax*by-ay*bx, it is pretty similar to determinant of 2x2 matrix.
