Bytes read from URL: 123735
Download Time = 309 ms

* Submission Code:
public class FunctionalMap {
public String getAnswerURL() {
//Replace the returned String with your submission file's URL
return "https://drive.google.com/open?id=XXXX";
}

Quoting the problem statement:
If you use Google Drive to share the link, then please use the following format: "https://drive.google.com/uc?export=download&id=" + id

Thanks much! It's solved :)

Hello, I'm having a similar problem where it accepts the submission and gives it a 0. I think I've done everything correctly, used the Python radio button, and offered the following code:

def getAnswerURL():
return "https://drive.google.com/uc?export=download&id=<my_id_here>"

Any reason you can tell why this might be causing some sort of error? I'm not thinking I'll necessarily win the competition with this submission but a 0/16948 seems somewhat unlikely. I didn't get any submission error feedback, and I got a confirmation email saying "Your test for the problem FunctionalMap has completed." Does this really mean the submission scored 0.0?

Your submission file looks ok, so the problem is with something else. Judging from what you wrote you didn't implement the required class in the pasted code.

Hi, i have the same submission problem, can you help me to check it?

the example result shows like this:
Example Case:
Test case 1
Fatal Errors:
"Returned URL: https://www.dropbox.com/s/qsy8j36vgezr67g/xxxxxx.txt?dl=1
Bytes read from URL: 365210
Download Time = 1196 ms
No prediction found for: 30912"

my submission is this:
public class FunctionalMap {
public String getAnswerURL() {
//Replace the returned String with your submission file's URL
return "https://www.dropbox.com/s/qsy8j36vgezr67g/xxxxx.txt?dl=1";
}
}

txt format is like this:
0,recreational_facility
2,place_of_worship
1,storage_tank
.....

do you have any idea what's the reason?

If you got this message then you must have submitted an example solution (using the "Test Examples" button). Example solutions must contain results for 5 given bounding_box_ids (including 30912 as shown by the error message you received). See the Scoring section of the problem statement for details between an Example and a Full submission. If you make a full submission (using the "Submit" button) then you must provide results for all bounding_box_ids in the provisional test set, but in this case you won't get detailed error message if something is wrong.
Looking at the length of your file this looks like a full submission, but you submitted it as an example submission.

Does bounding_box_id 30912 exist in the test dataset?

I ask because:
- My scored submissions contain 16948 lines, and they dot NOT include id 30912.
- When I submit a (scored) submission as an example, i too get the error:

Fatal Errors:
"Returned URL: ....EDITED....
 Bytes read from URL: 348622
 Download Time = 1269 ms
 No prediction found for: 30912"

...however the submission must be OK b/c it's been (previously) scored (as a full submission).

Can you confirm:
1. how many lines (bounding boxes) are expected in a full submission
2. if the returned fatal error in the example is indeed an error.

Thanks.

Example submissions and Full submissions are done on different data sets.
Example submissions must contain predictions for 5 bounding_box_ids, see the problem statement for which 5. This is a subset of the training data and can be used only to verify that your submission process works.
Full submissions must contain all bounding_box_ids of the provisional test set, there are 16948 of them, none of which is 30912.

Ok thanks walrus. Couldn't get the python class to work for some reason so I switched to using the example java submission class and everything worked fine. Thanks!

Hi,

I trying to submit but I'm receiving this error message:

Submit failed: You already have a submission whose score is pending.

However our last submission was yesterday.

Thanks.

I am getting the same error as usf_bulls: "Submit failed: You already have a submission whose score is pending."

Theres been ~10 hours since the last submission, and it has been scored (i.e. it isn't pending)
Re: Submission Error (response to post by samaonline) | Reply
Same submission pending error for 10+ hrs now

I believe this should be ok now, but if it persists, please let me know.
