Re: How soon should graduating students send resumes for a job? (response to post by cep21) | Reply
Definitely start as soon as possible. As a technical recruiter, my main focus is filling immediate positions but I'm always keeping my eye out for strong candidates for the future. Also, there could be other opportunities for you to get involved. For example, my company offers referral incentives for people like yourself who are still in school but may know other people already in the work force.

I've started already. There are quite a few companies coming to my campus to interview people who are graduating in May.

It is never too soon to be talking to potential employers.

How soon should a student that is graduating in the Spring start sending out resumes and contacting companies looking for a job upon graduation?
