Re: Anyone looking for a job? (response to post by PuffRing) | Reply
You don't have any problems finding a job. The only problem I have with you right now is trying to find you a job before you find one yourself... :)

Been working on some Gentiva application projects through TC. A nice database backend schema, well maintained, and extensively modified application base.

Good luck Tav!

Thanks for the compliment, I attribute my communication skills partly to my first experience in the industry, SIT; we were ranked the #1 company in Legacy Integration, at the time.

Communication is the essence of everything we do and tasks that need accomplishing.

BTW: Ranking source was the Gartner Group.

I'm always looking for an opportunity - but am not a US citizen. What is the success rate of non US citizens getting jobs through TC? I know that working visas can be organized, but it has to be initiated through the employer.

Does TC cater much to the international market, or are most of your job placements USA only at this point?

Just curious.
Thx

Unfortunately, right now all of our positions are in the U.S. We are working with some international companies, but have not yet gotten to the point where we are able to recruit outside the U.S. for them. We did have a client (CSFB) take a look at several TopCoder profiles in the U.K. for their London operations about a month ago, but have had no success so far.

Thanks very much for the swift feedback.

I'll have to just continue striving towards my goal of qualifying for an onsite event to "network" with the sponsors. :)

Is there another Google codejam this year?

Thx

There are some companies that are in the pipeline that would need security clearance. Why do you ask?
