Re: Career in investment banking (response to post by Winner5)
I work for a financial services organization in London and have been planning a move into a bank for a year or so so I have been thinking about this as well.

The job market (in London at any rate) is slow at the moment and I know several organizations have recruitment freezes on at the moment.

I would imagine the very top developers from Lehmans etc. will have no problem finding another job. Experienced developers should also be able to find work soon enough.

I predict graduates (apart from the cream of Oxbridge/Ivy League) will struggle.
