Re: Leaderboards are Up! (response to post by picachui) | Reply I understand, thank you for the answer picachui, this makes sense now :)
Re: Leaderboards are Up! (response to post by f0rc0d3r) | Reply # of Submissions that Pass Review:actually means # of Submissions that got placed or # of submissions that won a prize. Total points = 1st place amount. So if first place is \$1600, then total points is 1600 - ... there are three contest prizes (final prizes), 5 final submissions, and only two submissions were declared as winners (had a prize)? (3 prizes, 5 submissions, 2 winners)1st place - 70 % of total points2nd place - 30 % of total points- ... there are three prizes, 5 final submissions, and three submissions were declared as winners (had a prize)? (3 prizes, 5 submissions, 3 winners)1st place - 65% of total points2nd place - 25% of total points3rd place - 10 % of total points- ... there are three prizes, 3 final submissions and all of them had a prize? (3 prizes, 3 submissions, 3 winners)1st place - 65% of total points2nd place - 25% of total points3rd place - 10 % of total points- ... there are three prizes, 2 final submissions and all of them had a prize? (3 prizes, 2 submissions, 2 winners)1st place - 70 % of total points2nd place - 30 % of total pointsThis is how it is calculated now I think.
Re: Leaderboards are Up! (response to post by seriyvolk83) | Reply Someone should take a look at this then... a lot of missing points and a lot of considerations like taking into account the number of final passing submissions (usually 5 or more but not always) are missing....
Re: Leaderboards are Up! (response to post by f0rc0d3r) | Reply Then it's even simpler. Just change "score>=80" to "all passed".
Re: Leaderboards are Up! (response to post by seriyvolk83) | Reply Design side contests don't use this rating of >80% like development ... is pass or don't pass... (anyone tell me if I'm wrong...)So, according to your answer in wireframe leaderboards there are a lot of missing points....
Re: Leaderboards are Up! (response to post by f0rc0d3r) | Reply It does not depend on the number of prizes. The submissions with score >= 80 are ordered and 5 top are used. So, all submissions with score < 80 are not taken into account.>If the prizes where 1600, 600, 300 what percentage of points are you giving in each case?If more than 4 submissions have score>=80:1st = 1600*56%=2st = 1600*20%=3st = 1600*10%=4st = 1600*8%=5st = 1600*6%=all other = 0
Re: Leaderboards are Up! (response to post by jmpld40) | Reply Hi, I have a question:What does "If more than five (5) submissions pass review..." mean? (Scoring in the Competition is determined based on the final ranking for a Contestant’s submission )Is "pass review" the number of submissions in "final submissions" or is the number of submissions with a prize (declared as winners)? This question is important because affects placement. For example, wireframe contests use to have 5 or more final submitters and I'm only seeing points given to winners, for the two or three winners... is this correct? In that case there are some situations that I don't understand how are you taking them into account, I'm not sure those are distinguished right now: What if in a contest.... - ... there are three contest prizes (final prizes), 5 final submissions, and only two submissions were declared as winners (had a prize)? (3 prizes, 5 submissions, 2 winners)- ... there are three prizes, 5 final submissions, and three submissions were declared as winners (had a prize)? (3 prizes, 5 submissions, 3 winners)- ... there are three prizes, 3 final submissions and all of them had a prize? (3 prizes, 3 submissions, 3 winners)- ... there are three prizes, 2 final submissions and all of them had a prize? (3 prizes, 2 submissions, 2 winners)If the prizes where 1600, 600, 300 what percentage of points are you giving in each case? Thanks!
